How it started
Michael is the founder. He started as a fixer in high school after a general contractor hired him on. The work stuck. He is a licensed electrician and remodeling contractor, and he built a crew that can handle the electrical, plumbing, handyman, and remodel work a home actually needs — leaks, water heaters, fixtures, the list on the fridge.
He has been on the North Shore for 15+ years, and he opened Nailed It North Shore so homeowners would have one shop to call for electrical, plumbing, handyman work, and remodeling — instead of three different companies in the driveway.
Michael and the crew hold manufacturer certifications — ICC Certified EV Charging Installer, ChargePoint Certified, Lutron Professional, and Generac Certified. Those sit alongside the licensed electrician and remodeling contractor work, so a charger, a generator, or a lighting job is not a subcontract.
The motto on the truck is the same one we use in the house: Quality versus quantity. We would rather do the job once, cleanly, than race through a calendar.
